Yesterday was a great day of spring skiing and it looks like in for more today. But that’s all going to change tomorrow with a storm coming in that could bring us lots of snow!.
Four inches were reported at 5:30am and a couple more has come since. This will soften things up nicely.
The conditions on the mountain were great today. I don’t think anybody expected to the snow to be as good as it was!
This storm truned out to be a dissapointment so far. Only an inch was reported on the mountain this morning. But it’s dumping now. Let’s hope this thing is just a little late.
After a beautiful day with lots of sunshine on Vail Mountain, it has finally started to snow. Hopefully something will come of the weather moving in. Maybe even a powder day or two?
This latest round of storms was a bit of a disappointment. Only two inches reported last night. The good news is that it’s going to be a sunny day in Vail. The sun is expected to shine with fairly warm temperatures.
With March closing in on us, it’s time to start thinking about spring skiing.
We got a few more inches out of this storm. The forecast show snow continuing through Sunday. The skiing and riding is very good right now, but if the forecast holds true, it will be great on Vail Mountain this weekend.
A photo of it dumping in Vail Village this afternoon at 4:30pm.
Get ready. It snowed all day. The seven inches reported today quickly turned into much, much more. It was still coming down after the lifts closed and continues to do so this evening. We should wake up tomorrow to lots of snow so get ready for another Powder Day!
The snow report tomorrow will be a big number but much of that fell after the 5:30am report this morning. But not to worry, it will still be an incredible day tomorrow.
It’s been a incredible week in Vail with 56” of snow in the last seven days. That brings us to a total of 275” of snow this season so far. Double of what we had last season at this time!
There’s more snow in the forecast for the next few days.
16” of snow in the last 24 hours reported on Vail Mountain!
