Golden Peak is covered with snow and already has alpine ski racers ripping down the mountain training for the upcoming season. Members of the US Ski Team are around town and have been getting some practice time. The public is invited out to the base area at Golden Peak to check out a US Ski Team training session this Saturday from 7am until 10:30am. Later that day everyone’s invited to Vail Square in Lionshead to join in a celebration with the team which kicks off at 4:30pm. Check out this Vail Daily article for more details.
